02.23.09 Artisan becomes the certifying agent and one of the design consultants for the BEST House, a project of University of West Florida.

From the BEST House website:

The BEST House is a demonstration house that will be used as an educational tool and resource for Northwest Florida...The BEST House is a project of the Building Construction Program in the Department of Engineering and Computer Technology. It is being developed as a collaborative effort involving building partners and business contributors who are committed to "green" construction.

BEST stands for Build • Educate • Sustain • Technology
